A modern twist on a nostalgic brand for me.

American Spoon is a northern Michigan based brand that sells jams, jellies, sauces, preserves  and other jar-bound products. Growing up and visiting northern Michigan, I've always loved going into American Spoon stores and sampling all of the yummy products they sell and I wanted to take their brand and put my own twist on it.

I tried out hand lettering for the first time. Which was trickier than I had thought, but so rewarding and fun! I paired this fun lettering with some illustrations of the flavor-relevant ingredients and textured them with some halftones to add a little texture. 

I wanted to make sure I did these jars justice with my photographs, so I made a gif that allows you to see all the way around in one picture!
