UWM Campaign

Summer of 2022 I got the opportunity as the Graphic Design Intern within the marketing department of United Wholesale Mortgage.

Working with the other marketing interns to gather research, we created a campaign to recruit next summer's interns. I was responsible for the creative assets for the campaign, which we later presented to the entire marketing team as well as the chief marketing officer.

Brand Pattern

While creating this campaign, I was trying to find a way to target college students with my design. I found that the best way to do that would be to try and modernize UWM's brand but also maintain their brand identity.

I came up with the idea to create a brand pattern. UWM's "6 Pillars", which they base their company culture on. In my pattern you will see six different symbols that are used already to represent those pillars that I incorporated into a pattern.

Paid Social

The paid social graphics were where I figured out my specific direction for this campaign. I wanted to do something fun and new, so I came up with the idea of "Greetings from UWM"; a campaign centered around summer & a postcard theme. The copywriters and art
directors within the team loved this
idea so I ran with it!

Billboards

I continued with the postcard theme with the billboards. I definitely struggled the most with the format of the billboards as well as making sure they're not too busy, it was a learning experience for sure. The first 3 billboards look more similar to the social posts, where the last 3 focus more on outline illustrations I made of the UWM campus.
